So this past weekend, I had to great sessions in my studio. After having it set up for a whole month, I have finally started to figure out lighting. I have my studio set up in a dark room with only one window. And to make matters worse, there is dark carpet and dark wood wainscoting. I have been spending time rearranging my "continuous" lights, adding white cardboard (to reflect light), playing with camera settings, Photoshop editing, and so on. Below is one final photograph from each session I had.
I think I am getting there, slowly, but surly! I must admit, I was so frustrated at one point, I was about ready to give up doing studio shots altogether. But to make this a steady thing, I must stick with it and make this work. Living in New England, one can only photograph outside for so long before the weather is no longer cooperative! So, I am happier now that I did not give up. I feel that I still have a way to go, but I love doing this, and plan on doing it no matter what!
Well, It's also time to post week 5 for the 52-Capture Challenge. This week was fruit. This was so easy for me! I love strawberries! And strawberries have great detail for such a small fruit. But, instead of just a plain strawberry, I added in a little something extra! Here it is:
No sessions planned for this coming weekend, where as it is my birthday, and the Superbowl! I will be back with week 6 next week though Week 6 is from a low angle! I do have a session coming up on the 11th as well, that I will share. Until then, au revoir.
