Birds

So I have been on this mission since Spring. I just randomly decided to capture as many birds as I could around where I live (New England). So Far I have 16 different birds. This had been a great learning experience. I have become more aware of my surroundings in nature. Nature is an amazing thing, and have been awesome to explore. I thing each spring/summer, I will try to pick one natural thing to find, learn about, and photograph. This years I will continue to search for birds. Next year, maybe flowers or trees.

I may also try to find a different non-natural subject. Something that is there, but we as people don't usually take notice of. One great idea my sister (and fellow photographer - http://www.brendasdreamboutique.com/) had was lamp-posts.

Anyway, back to birds for now! One thing at a time! Here are all the birds I have found thus far (Started in mid May). I will show the photograph, and tell the name of each bird. I will post more at the end of each month, until it gets to cold to continue. Enjoy!

American Gold Finch

Black-throated Blue Warbler

 Great Blue Heron

 Northen Cardinal

 Great Egret

 Great Comorant

 American Robin

 Mute Swan

 Wild Turkey

 Grey Catbird

Nuttalls Woodpecker

Male Mallard Duck

Canada Goose

Red-Winged Black Bird

So, I will continue searching for new birds to photograph, and I will update at the end of Junly. I hope to get at least 30 by the time I am done! We shall see.....
